Located in Eleven Mile Canyon at a popular picnic spot across a foot bridge on the north side of the Platte River.
So named for 8 yr. old Lizzy - who with 3 other cousins were climbing belayed on a nearby rock climb above a picnic table. She was almost in tears from frustration at getting to the top. When told it would be OK to repell down, she refused and continued until reaching the top. The other cousins cheered and named this cache in her honor of her perseverance. This is a beautiful area worthy of a picnic after finding the cache. The cache is a short way up the hill above the picnic tables - an easy walk. Watch for muggles as many scramble around the rocks where the 4 cousins - ages 8-11 were climbing while roped up on a belay. The cache contains goodies chosen by the kids at this years Grandpa & Grandma camp.
