Geocache Description:

Cool peak in the Gold Lake area

At close to 8000 feet, this cache will have you breathing heavy, but it will be worth it. 360 degree views of lakes, mountains and forests. Most of the way up here (there are several routes) is on good mountain trail. The last 50 feet or so involves scrambling over large rocks, and unsuitable for small children, or those uncomfortable using hands and feet, or those afraid of heights. No technical climbing, but be safe and take your time.
