Small cache located at the tip of Point Sorell.
Enjoy the spectacular scenery along this walk to Point Sorell. Park at the end of Hawley Beach (S41 08.285 E146 32.513) and begin the walk through Larooma Park. Please do not attempt to take short-cuts through private property.
The path is well defined to begin with, but once past the Buncle (and sign declaring "Track ends here") the track does end. It is possible to follow the fenceline and/or shoreline to get to the point. Please be careful of the fence, as it is electric. The cache was placed at high-tide, so is accessible regardless of what the tide is doing.
Please wear appropriate shoes, as the ground is uneven in places. Also take appropriate clothing - although it may seem calm and mild at the start of the walk the wind can really pick up further around.
Unfortunately dogs and bikes are not permitted here. It is also important to be careful of the native wildlife (read the signs on the way into the park).
