Hanoosh: As the CO is no longer active and in view of the contents of the recent logs that the landowner has requested that this cache be removed and has in fact removed the cache, I am archiving this cache.

Geocache Description:

hope you enjoy finding this cache

please don't feel vulnerable finding this cache as the owner no s its here

also i wuold not advise as a night cache

as i live in yorkshire i thought that bardwell could do with another cache. and because i live in yorkshire my granddad and grandma will be checking the cache regulary.

the cache is located at bardwell windwill which in october 1987 the great storm caused servere damage to bardwell.

geoffrey wheeler, who passed away in 1995, had hoped to run the working mill - which dates back to early 19th century. in his memory, his wife enid and son, jonathon, with the help of the freinds of bardmill windmill continue to raise money for the restoration of the mill.

in august 2010 the windmill was reunited with one of its sails. and emotional but rewarding day.

if you have time whilst geocaching, take a look around the mill and read about its history. you may even see enid, who is always happy to talk to about the mill.
