Geocache Description:

Another cemetery cache in the Old Stones series. You're looking for a well-hidden pill bottle.

Mycenae Burial Ground is located on Route 5 in Manlius. We discovered it while going to another cache, Trouble on the Gulf. The stones are very old, dating back to the 1700's and 1800's. There is a Revolutionary War soldier buried here. The cemetery itself is maintained by the town.

This cemetery is an inactive cemetery that is adjacent to private property. You DO NOT need to enter private property to get the cache. The cache itself is located on the edge of the cemetery away from the graves.

Some of the Action Squad's favorite caches are in cemeteries and we like to share some of the unique ones that we find. It's nice to see the stones of our ancestors, and we want to remind you to be respectful of the area and to please only do this cache during daylight.
