Have you ever heard of an overhead bridge?

In our town, that is what it is called. Ask directions to almost anywhere in town and probably you will be directed to "Go to the Overhead Bridge...." OK, so what is UNDER the OVERHEAD bridge? Over whose head? It would really be interesting to know why it is called that.

This cache is nowhere near the railroad track so stay away from it and do not cross the fence.
