Last August, while commuting home on his Vespa, Gunners Mate First Class Ryan Seward was struck by a SUV that crossed over the
centerline, and killed. He was 4 months from retiring from a career in the Navy and Coast Guard.
A sign was erected and dedicated to Ryan on August 13, 2010 at the location of the accident. This was one year after the incident.
We have hidden a cache here as a tribute to a fallen friend. Please be respectful of the area. There is limited roadside parking across
the street from this sign, there is a sister sign there. Please do not park in the driveway adjacent to the sign, it is private property.
