Geocache Description:

The tenth of Water Slider's series of walks on the footpaths around the villages of north and north east Leeds.

This is a nice short two mile circular walk between the villages of Scarcroft and Bardsey on public bridleways and footpaths.

There are six caches and a bonus, if you do all six, each has information which will allow you to find the bonus cache.

Parking is available in Scarcroft on Syke Lane, we parked at N 53° 52.295 W 001° 27.054 this is the best place to start, alternate parking is available by the side of the Wetherby Road at N 53° 52.500 W 001° 26.605, however, there is only a limited number of spaces available here and it is often busy. This needs a short detour to find #1 but it is also the start of the Scarcroft and Bardsey Walk series, so if you haven’t done that yet, why not combine the two.

After parking at the suggested place walk down Syke Lane towards the Wetherby Road, just after Malthouse Close take the Public Bridleway on the left and continue through the wood.

Because of the tree cover the co-ordinates may not be very accurate, if so please use the clue.

This is a small clip box with room for small swaps.

The cache is not in the trees near the barbed wire, it is now on the left side of the path.
