Right next to the old railway line route from Pietermaritzburg, now known as Msunduzi after the river that flows through the city, to Hilton, and not far from the Old Voortrekker Road that snaked down from the interior, there is a tremendous view over city and its surrounds. Below to the south are the Ketelfontein grasslands, one of the few areas where the highly endangered Hilton Daisy (Gerbera Aurantiaca) can still be found and far off in the distance is Table Mountain, not to be confused with another a little bit further south..
