A good place to park to start this hunt is at the Camp Caro lot at N 47° 39.175', W 117° 17.352'. From there, the first waypoint is located about a half-mile away. At this spot, you are looking for a small aluminum tag that has the coordinates for the actual geocache engraved onto it.
The actual cache is located about 1 mile away from the first waypoint, and is just a hop, skip and a jump outside of the boundaries of the Dishman Hills Natural Area. The final approach to the cache requires a bit of scrambling up some rocks, but nothing too significant. The cache container is a camouflaged 30 cal. ammo can.
Enjoy the walk and the hunt, and be sure to enjoy the interesting rock formations, peaceful ponds, ravines and sheer beauty of this area.
