Mire at Myers Traditional Cache
G.R.O.W.: Looks like this cache has run its course. I haven't had a chance to get back there but sounds like the cache has disappeared again. By the sounds of it a lot has changed and the area may not be so good for a cache at the moment. Will shut this one down - thanks to the great many people who stopped by and to those left valuable feedback.
Cheers
Glenn (G.R.O.W.)

Myers Park
NOTE: Due to some detailed and welcome feedback from finders/did not finders (see logs) and the generally poor GPS signal within the park I strongly suggest you refer to the hint.
Nestled between 3 iconic Auckland roads, Karangahape (or K) Rd, Queen St and Mayoral Drive, this quiet little park is a nice getaway from the bustle that surrounds it. The park was gifted to Auckland in 1913 by The Honourable Arthur M. Myers, city mayor between 1905 and 1910 and contains an historic kindergarten, built at the same time.
You may have fun with reception in the narrow, steep sided park, with tall buildings making things even worse, but general location of GZ will be pretty obvious once you get close. The cache was placed immediately following a long stretch of heavy rain - hence the title - and footing in the wet grass near GZ was treacherous, especially when leaving, so take care if it happens to be very wet. The cache is at the smaller end of small so only room for geocoins and small swaps.
Thanks to the.pud for pointing out the muggle dangers in this park. A year has passed, but please be vigilant on the stealth front...
