Geocache Description:

A small tupperware container with a few items and a log book. Best to bring own writing implement just in case the pencil goes missing!

Placed here while running the coast to coast for PAPYRUS (prevention of young suicide) in memory of Dan Pickard.

Mungrisdale is a small village in the north east of the English Lake District. It is also the name of the valley in which the village sits. Mungrisdale is a popular starting point for ascents of the nearby hills, such as Bowscale Fell, Bannerdale Crags and Souther Fell. Mungrisdale has no local amenities, however it does have a pub.

Located on an alternative route of the C2C national cycle network, it is well worth a look, especially for the great views!
