Geocache Description:

You must locate two gravesites and use the information you find there to fill in the missing data on the coordinates for the REAL cache site.

This cache hunt takes place in the I.O.O.F Cemetery. I've always thought it was a beautiful place.

Don't worry -- it's very respectful. You're not going to do any grave digging.

To find the coordinates for the acutal cache you must vist two locations in the Cemetery and use information you find there to calculate/find.

The coordinates listed for this log is acutally the location for your FIRST CLUE.

The Actual cache is located at N 40° 32 ??? / W085° 38 ???

You must find the missing numbers by visiting two locations and findign the clues.

CLUES

1. Gathering of Angels: Go to the coordinates listed at the top of this report. At this location you'll find a group of angels standing in a circle. Count the Angels (Make sure you count ALL of them -- including those INSIDE the circle). Take this number and subtract it from 345. The result is the missing three numbers from the Latitude (N). Your half way there.

2. Lonely Soldier: Now go to N 40° 32 363 W 085° 38 580. Here you'll find a lonely Union Soldier. Your job is to count how many stars are on the base he stands on. Besure to count ALL of them. Now take that number and add it to 309. This gives you the three missing digits to the Longitude (W) of the final cache site.

Once you have found your clues and done your math (and checked it twice) you are ready to find the acutal cache site. This could be very tricky -- be sure you look good. BTW all the clues as well as the final cache are locateed within a quarter mile of one another. This one doesn't involve much walking. You can get most of your clues from your car. The final cache wsas originally a red tin box but it was discoverd by the lawn crew and removed. I have replaced it with a small rubber maid container painted green. The container if small (about the size of an orange) and it will take a sharp eye to spot it now.

Have fun!!!
