The cache is a multi-cache based on information you must gather in Stickillin graveyard. The grave yard contains the ruins of a medieval church. Only the west gable of the church survives and there may be the remains of a bellcote hidden by the ivy. The graveyard and church were restored in 1955 by the Ardee sub-committee of the Louth Archaeological society. Stained glass was found during this conservation work.
Stage 1 Please note that the pathway to the graveyard is between two private residences. Please do not disturb them. The coordinates will lead you to a stone with writing on it. Note the number of letters in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th words of the last line. Call these numbers A, B, C, D, and E. Stage 2 Find the gravestone of Maxwell McKeever's wife and work out what age she was when she died. Call this number F. Find where the Rev’d Thomas Meade is buried and add the year of age he was in to C. Call your answer G. Final location The cache is a micro containing a log (byop) and can be found at the following location N53° (F-(D+A)).CE(B-A) W06° G.BC(B+A) The Cache The cache is a micro container.
