Start at Russell School and enjoy the series of seats. (See the following caches: Mary's Seat; Queen's View; Mrs Woodcock's seat) OR Park near the Morton Bay fig tree at Long Beach and enjoy a stroll along the flat.
The seat at the end of Long Beach, under the small pohutukawa tree has been placed there by Doris Edwards in memory of her husband Stan, who farmed the adjacent property, as did his father before him. Stan was happiest working on his land and looking out from it to the islands of the Bay. (If you time it at low tide, you can also gather a feed of mussels.)
