Geocache Description:

This is our second traditional cache. We just loved this trail and thought it was unique with its own little esker - and wanted more people to enjoy it. We also thought it was strange that there is no trail map of this area on record (that we could find).

After you find the cache, we highly recommend you continue on the yellow trail (which takes a sharp left through the stone wall) for views of Black Pond. You'll understand how it was named. It crosses a creek and we're not sure what that will be like in the Spring.

The hardest part of this cache is finding the trail head. It is on Littleton County Road in Harvard - look for the white mailbox #223. There is a broken Conservation Land sign and space for one to park in the grass. Do NOT park in the paved spot, this is the home owner's.
This cache may be difficult in the winter if there is more than 2 feet of snow on the ground.

You will also find a hint to Eureka #4: Aardvarks Don't Buzz in the cache. Enjoy.
