Grinilund kirke #299
Kirken her ble bygget i 1959 og er oppført i betong, leggbetong
og treverk.
Kirken har 286 sitteplasser, møterom og hobbyrom, kjøkken og
kontor.
Kirken er tegnet av arkitekt Jahn H. Jahnsen.
Grinilund menighetshus ble vigslet den 6. september 1959 av biskop
Johannes Smemo.
Etter det ble Grinilund menighetshus omtalt som Grinilund
kapell.
I 1976 Ble kapellet offisielt godtjent som kirke.
Alter dekorasjonen er laget av Marie Vigeland, som også har laget
prekestolutskjæringene.
Pipeorglet er fra 1968 og er bygget av Vestres Orgelfabrik.
De 2 kirkeklokkene er fra Olsen-Nauen og her inskripsjonene: Av
Guds nåde og Til Guds ære.
Selve cachen er gjemt litt utenfor kirkeområdet nærmere bestemt på
parkeringsplassen til kirken.

cast concrete and wood.
The church has 286 seats, meeting room, hobby room, kitchen and
office.
The church was designed by architect Jahn H. Jahnsen.
GriniLund parish was consecrated on 6 September 1959 by Bishop John
Smemo.
After it was GriniLund parish called GriniLund Chapel.
In 1976 the chapel was officially aproved as a church.
Altar decorations are made by Marie Vigeland, who also designed
pulpit carvings.
The pipe organ is from 1968 and is built of Vestre
Orgelfabrik.
The two bells are from Olsen-Nauen and this inscription: By the
grace of God and To God's glory.
The cache is hidden just outside the church, in the parking lot to
the church.
