8th in the “O' Brother Where Art Thou?" series…one of my favorite movies! Released in 2000, it highlights the travels, exploits, and adventures of Everett, DelMar, and Pete!
This scene finds our three, chain-gang runaways in a stolen car with George “Baby Face” Nelson! George is driving, and being chased by the “feds” after he had just robbed a bank. He is flying down a dusty road with Pete, DelMar, and Everett watching all the action, complete with cash bills flying out of the windows, and George shooting at the “coppers” with a submachine gun! Suddenly, George drives past a herd of cattle grazing nearby, and proclaims, “Cows! I hate cows worse than coppers!” So, he blasts a few cattle with his Walter PPK. That is when DelMar, after seeing the cows being shot by George, states the line above which is the title of this cache…
At the cache location you might actually see a few cows grazing lazily nearby. I don’t think you’ll have to worry about anyone shooting the livestock with a submachine gun way out here, especially “Baby Face” Nelson!
The cache is behind Calvary Baptist Church off of Calvary Church Road. DO NOT ENTER THE CATTLE PEN! The camo’d pill bottle container is outside the cattle pen. Park nearby and you’ll understand the connection with the movie line title. HAPPY HUNTING!
