Arachnophobia: an inordinate fear of spiders.
Arachnophobia can often be triggered by the thought of or sometimes
even a picture of a spider. Many people who are afraid of spiders
have feelings of panic entering into a situation where spiders may
be present. This fear of spiders can dictate where someone chooses
to live, go on vacation, work, or what sports or hobbies
(geocaching? - heaven forbid) are enjoyed.
You might scream, run away, or freeze in place. You might be unable
to trap or kill the spider yourself, or you might rely on a friend
or family member to rescue you from the situation.
You might seek help for your situation, but, in the meantime,
continue the hunt - it probably is the best therapy!
Use stealth as muggles may abound; be considerate of the
area.
