LPC9: Sometimes, a Great Hide
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Title based on Ken Kesey's famous novel, not the creativity of the hide, alas. Just another typical 35-mm-style hide with a fancy name and a literary-inspired theme. Not a Light Post Cache, but rather a LITERARY PROMOTION CACHE.
Continuing to spread a few more smiley opps to help boost number of caches in the area and offer a little high-brow caching in low-brow containers, while you drive around the vineyards and tasting room's of Yamhill County.
Rating due to having to park across the street and cross the busy busy road, as well as the fact that there are just so many different spots to hid this cache. Please replace with camo in place.
LPC#9: Ken Kesey -- Seminal leader and brightest star of the Merry Pranksters, father of the Acid Koolaid tests and parties (hosted by house band, the Grateful Dead, no less), and Oregon author of two great novels. I came to Sometimes a Great Notion long after I should have, but reading it shook me to my very foundations. An Oregon transplant, I still felt very much the Oregonian after devouring this powerful, archetypal story of a coastal logging family.

CONGRATS TO BNMac FOR GRABBING THE FIRST TO FIND HONORS ...and pointing out that you should be careful of the Poison Oak at GZ (which I sure as heck didn't notice!)
