Lot's Wife Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

darapotter: Well it lasted nearly a year! The latest cache did not even last three days so not much point in replacing.Odd that anyone would want to get on all fours and peer up a small hole at ground level on the off chance there may be something worth trashing! Thanks to all visitors.

Geocache Description:

Quick cache and dash with off road parking only yards away.Approach should be wheelchair friendly but cache retrieval may need assistance.

Small round food container holding log only.

Big enough for geocoins or very small travel bugs but in a very muggle rich area so may not be the best place for them.

When I came back from holiday several of these big yellow salt bins had sprung up around Shepton. Obviously Somerset CC are not going to get caught out this winter. This fine specimen is only 0.1 miles from my house.

The cache location is a very popular spot for the local youth to meet ,they are probably not best impressed that on wall seating has been reduced! It will also soon be time for the sport of throwing sticks at conker trees to commence.

The cache name came from when I had lunch at the Swan Hotel in Bradford on Avon many years ago.I asked for salt and the waiter brought it saying "Here you are sir, Lot's wife "

Please rehide far enough in not to be seen from road or steps opposite. Thanks.
