Geocache Description:

Tullow Hill has impressive views over the surrounding countryside. The cache is a short walk from the car parking area but the terrain can be rough.

Tullow, on the banks of the Slaney, is known as the Granite Town, and dates back to the time of St. Patrick. It is notable for the Wolseley family, associated with the cars of the same name, and for Bishop Daniel Delany, founder of the Patrician and Brigidine religious orders . A statue of Fr. John Murphy, leader of 1798 rebellion, stands in the square marking the spot where he was hanged. Tullow Hill is a local landmark with excellent views over South Wicklow and Carlow.
The terrain on the hill is a bit rough, but the cache shouldn’t be too hard to find!
There's a small FTF medal included!
