Geocache Description:

This is a beautiful location of a church that is located on the top of the gravel ridge which was part of the ancient Lake Agassiz shoreline.

To me, this is a beautiful location. As a kid (along with friends), we skidooed and motorbiked up and down the hills throughout this area. This is church is located near the start of Willow Creek. This creek winds its way through the countryside emtying itself into Lake Winnipeg.

This is the second church that was established on this site. It first established as a Greek Orthodox Church (as seen in the steeple design). After the first church burned down, it was rebuild with the church you see but then became organized and setup as a Ukrainain Catholic church.

Congratulation to sdthord on the First to Find!
