On the last weekend in July sees this picturesque spot transformed into a sea of children.
Each year on the last weekend in July the Local Lions Club hosts a mini colts carnival for football & netball. Teams come from all over the peninsula to play in the carnival. It is a great site to see lots of camp fires going all around the oval keeping people warm.
Tennis is still played on the courts on Saturdays during summer & the hall is still used for table tennis & other gatherings. Father Christmas turns up each year in the local fire truck for all the kids.
Please take care during summer - you never know where the long slippery things will turn up.
