Geocache Description:


This cache is part of the Open Doors Event Sept. 11-12, 2010. Please do not log visits before that event

The western entrance to Cornwall on Highway #2 has gone through many changes over the years. Highway 2 - The Kings Highway was once the main highway between Toronto to the west and Montreal to east. Long time locals will remember this entrance as the Lacrosse Sticks - a set of them crosses over the road highlighting the local manufacturing of them.

Today the entrance has a very green look to it with Guidon Park to the water side and a bike path snaking its way through the park.

The cache is a small container located near the signs marking the entrance. Please to not walk through the flowers the cache can be located from the back side.
