Geocache Description:

From the Wick Meadows estate to Shotgate you would use this bridge and at the top take a moment to enjoy the views of Wickford in all its glory. Sorry about any rubbish collecting here, unfortunately I have no control over this - when i placed the cache here, there was no rubbish.

You may have often walked over the bridge but what lies beneath? Is it a troll, the Southend to London train line or just perhaps its the cache you are looking for?

Once upon a time, Wick Meadows was the original site of Wick Farm. It is now a residential area. Wick lane (as noted on the pedestrian sign post at this location) was originally the lane leading to the farm before the railway track was laid that separates the now Wick Meadows from the rest of Wickford.
