Roman Seawatch Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ROTSIP: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Tunisia is rich in Roman (and earlier) ruins. This cache finds a hiding place in a corner or a Roman ruin (a watch tower?). Easy access from the campsite, or along from the public beach at Ezzahra. May need to search for a bit ;-)

Cache is a small plastic snaplock box, with log, pencil, and various small items. There are several places you could look for this, but it's hidden in a place that is slightly hidden from the beach, so may offer some protection from muggles.

Please be aware that Tunisians generally have no idea about geocaching, and generally will be suspicious of people poking around, and may even report you to the police.

Enjoy the snorkelling, the ruins continue out under the water too!
