Baker Falls Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

-Rusty-: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Cache is a brown 7.62mm ammo box. Terrain drops steeply to the falls area, caution is advised when exploring the area as the rocks may be slippery when wet. There's a trail following the pipline that leads up to the edge of the river and is accessable by truck w/ 4X4 or ATV. Please secure the box and replace it exactly as you found it.

This cache is a tribute to my family herritage. I used to live and work on the now retired dairy farm owned by the Baker brothers (Raymond & Robert), where they were born and raised. The actual name of the falls is Gabrow falls but if you ask the local people you will find very few that have heard it called this. Baker falls inherited the name because of Delore & Ina Baker's 12 children, who used to play and swim at the location. As did my sisters and I when we were young children. The Cache is in the location where we all used to go and eat watermelon in the hot months of july.
