For many heaven on earth is whitewater. When central New Yorkers don't have the time to head up to the Adirondaks the east branch of the Fish Creek is the place to go. Our cache will bring you to the hidden staircases that are used to climb up from the creek after a hard paddle down stream from points above. Just downstream from here the east and west branches come together and flow slowly to Lake Oneida. In the spring and fall if the tropical storms permit you will see the cars parked here at the pullover awaiting the paddlers return. This is just another point of interest that we would like to share with our fellow cachers
