Where the Arve joins the Rhône and become one.

[EN] PLEASE : Use you two hands to grab the cache, be careful to not drop it into the river.

[FR] S'IL VOUS PLAIT : Utilisez vos deux mains pour attraper la boîte, et attention à ne pas la laisser tomber dans la rivière.

[FR] Au XXe siècle, la Jonction est un quartier industriel, avec l'usine à gaz (qui explosa en août 1909) et des entreprises de la métallurgie : SIP - Société genevoise des instruments de physique (machines-outils de précision), Gardy (composants électriques), la Nationale (mécanique de luxe, briquets), Kugler (robinetterie). Toutes ces entreprises périclitèrent dans les années 1970 - 1980, ou quittèrent le quartier.

L'administration du canton de Genève y a quelques bâtiments. Les dépôts historiques des Transports publics genevois y sont également installés.
