For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has helped youth become
more than they ever thought possible. And we'll continue that
journey into the next century. If you are—or have ever
been—active in Scouting, we invite you to reconnect at
www.BSAalumni.org. You were there for the first 100 years, now join
us for the next century of Scouting!
The Get in the Game! committee of the Tecumseh Council is
maintaining this cache for people to discover. It is a small cache
that has several Scouting items, Scout patches, and other fun items
for trade. Please trade scout appropriate items and share any
scouting experience you may have had as a scout or scouter.
The Tecumseh Council consist of scouting units in Clinton, Greene,
Clark, Champagne and Logan counties. This cache is one of six in
the Treasures of Scouting series.
If you are an Eagle Scout or involved with Boy Scouts be sure to
sign your name, what Troop and Council you were with, and what rank
you got to. If it was the Eagle rank, let us know what year.
Cache hidden by boydfamily on behalf of the Tecumseh
Council.
This cache is located at the Cedarville United Methodist Church. It
is located in the prayer garden beside the church in a very obvious
manner. Please be respectful of the property and of anyone who
might be visiting the garden looking for a quiet moment of prayer.
Please - no night caching at this location either.
This cache is also placed to celebrate over 55 years of service and
dedication to a very special lady within the Tecumseh Council and
the scouting program in the Cedarville area. Catherine 'Beany'
Beanblossom has dedicated most of her adult life to serving the
scouting program in this area. Until recently, Beany has been very
active with Pack 75 in Cedarville and the Tecumseh Council with
endless hours of her time. She has served the Pack in every
leadership position at one time or another and has served the
council in a variety of roles including working at summer camp.
This cache is to thank Beany and all the leaders and scouters that
help make the scouting program the success that it has become over
the last 100 years. Thank you all!
