The path starts above Kalk Bay harbour and clearly marked "Echo Valley".
About a 2 hour hike if you are in a hurry, otherwise allow for 3 hours. Circular walk is available, refer to Mike Lundy's "Best Walks in the Cape Peninsula".
You can also get to cache from Silvermine east parking area,1.5 to 2 hr walk.

Then along minor path to Cache.
