One of a growing series using the footpaths and bridle paths around the Glenfield area.
This series is on the bridle path that starts near the mini roundabout on Station Road and currently ends at the bridge of the A46 and is approx 1.3 miles in length. There are plans to extend into Kirby Muxloe soon.
There are several areas where you can park but I always use the CO-OP car park and either walk up the main road to the start or, if feeling energetic, you could scale the embankment up to the path.
Please be aware that this path is popular with dog walkers not all of which are responsible and clear up after their pets. In addition to the usual stealth I would recommend an element of sure footedness.
