Geocache Description:


Joe Hargis field first opened in 1948. When first opened it was a state of the art football, baseball, and track facility. It has since been converted to a baseball only facility. Over the years it has hosted countless South Spencer and American Legion Post 254 events.The grandstand, long since torn down, stood a few yards west of the cache location in right center field. I have many memories of watching baseball games from the grandstand as a child. I thought that this historic facility deserved a cache.You are looking for a 35 mm canister with log only so bring your own writing instrument.
