Time for another puzzle cache! This one is fairly easy though . . . you just have to use some logic. OK, here we go . . .
Imagine a motel with 7 rooms in a row numbered from 2 to 8 like this:
2 3 4 5 6 7 8
(I told you this hotel was mad as there is no room number 1)
7 people want to check into the motel and it is your job as the front desk clerk to get them into their proper rooms. The catch though is they have handed you a list of rules you must follow to determine which room each person belongs in. The 7 guests are Bob, Carol, Ted, Alice, Brenda, Frank and Sam. The rules are as follows:
1. Frank has to be in an odd numbered room.
2. Alice has to be beside Sam.
3. Frank’s room number has to be larger than Alice’s room number.
4. Sam has to be 3 doors away from Brenda.
5. Bob has to be beside both Alice and Carol.
6. Brenda needs to be in an end room.
Now, since that is all clear, you have to assign each of them their correct room numbers. Once you know which room each guest is supposed to be in, then you will have the coordinates for the hidden cache . . . all you have to do is substitute the room numbers for the names below:
N 53 Carol Frank . Alice Ted Brenda
W 113 Bob Bob . Carol Carol Sam
HINT: Draw a diagram and write in possible names above the room numbers and eliminate names as you go through the rules. Also, don’t necessarily follow the rules in the order shown; some rules may give you better information to narrow down the possibilities than other rules. Also, there is only one possible solution that is correct.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
