Placed on a rest stop going over the Dederang Gap. This stop has an absolutely splendid view of the area especially during spring time when the landscape is scattered with freshly cut bails of hay or during winter when fresh snow has fallen atop the nearby mountains. You can see just about all of Dederang in one simple tranquil postcard snapshot.
An old plastic jar with a painted screw top lid. Hidden away from the main area of the rest stop so muggles won't stumble across it. Retrieve the jar, make your swaps and then enjoy the area. Highly recommended that all cachers head down the gap into Dederang and have a few cold ones at the Dederang Hotel or have a gnarly feed at the gnarly Dederang General Store.
