Bailey's Chute is a ten minute hike from the parking area. It's a very good trail and only changes elevation near the end to drop you down to the viewing platform. In late August the salmon make their way up to this point and they can be spotted until about the middle of September. You'll find yourself cheering them on as they try to forge ahead.
