This is #2 of ten Howell Campground GeoCaching Primer (HCGCP) caches placed for Lake Red Rock's Big Geocaching Event, September 18, 2010.
You can learn to use your GPS unit by reading the manual (so I can't help you there), but I will try to give you a few tips on using the geocaching.com website. For one thing, each geocache has a unique code that can make electronic searches easier. This cache's code is GC2EDEF. It's always found on the upper right side of the cache's webpage, and on the "hide and seek a cache" webpage there's a search box for it way below the zip code search box.
I love pine groves...the soft bed of pine needles and the sweet scent...so I love hunting for caches among pine trees. This is a very small group of them, but you get the idea.
