On a Lovely Spring Night! Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ngaambul: As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

******* This cache can only be found at night!!! *******

Your little adventure will take place near the Thomas Hill Study Centre in the Adelaide Hills. You will need to search for this cache in the dark with the aid of a torch.

From the given coordinates, start scanning the forest in front of you for a Fire Tack. In case you haven't come across these before, these are small but highly reflective pins that shine a bit like cats eyes. Once you have found the first tack, you will need to look for the next, and continue to do so until you come to a spot that has more than one Fire Tack, this is where you will find the physical cache.

At each location, you will need to scan the forest for the next tack. You can spot the next one from anywhere around the object the tack is on, but it may help to do the hokey pokey, as in move position, squat down, stretch up, or even stand on your head, not that any of them are this hard to find, but it'd be fun for others to watch you doing this.

Now we actually placed this cache on the first day of spring, which turned out to be a very cold, wet and foggy night, so we figure that if we could do it in the worst possible conditions, then it should be no dramas in better weather. Hopefully you'll have as much fun doing it as we had placing it.

Lastly, please make sure you re-cover the cache container as you found it as the area is highly used by both trampers and cyclists, as proven by the cyclists we frightened the crap out of when they came across us in the dark - hehehe!
