The Drop Bear
Ursus cado venustus is a rarely seen relative of the
common Drop Bear (Ursus cado profanus). It is an Australian
marsupial of the family ursidae. Unlike its relations which
are commonly mistaken for the Koala (Phascolarctos
cinereus), Ursus cado venustus has an even more
friendly, sickly cute appearance - but beware this deceit; it is a
cruel lure for its unwary prey.
Many are already aware of the dangers posed by the Drop Bear,
but few live to tell their tale of a savage Drop Bear
encounter.
There is a prize for FTF which will be useful ... if you
survive.
TOURIST WARNING
Before visiting this cache it is highly recommended that tourists
to Australia research important information about the dangers of
Drop Bears, and are well prepared for the prevention of attacks.
The application of vegemite behind your ears and walking with a
screw driver held above your head alone will not help you - a
combination of techniques is required for these cunning creatures.
