Good parking, no more creeks to cross, flat terrain, zero chance of mud & trash, Should be an easy find.
A little wooded area behind where I work was calling out for a cache, and I had yet to place one. It seemed like a perfect match. Boy was I surprised at all the trash that I found. Because I work for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection I am ashamed that all this trash is right in my backyard. If you stop by and have the time please CITO this area. I know I will every time I check the cache. The first 5 to 10 feet are the hardest (creek crossing), after that its all flat. If you bring little ones they may need help across but they should be fine the rest of the way. I have a 3 year old who “treasure hunts” with me and I am confident that he could manage this cache. Be prepared for mud at the creek bed, and if there has been any recent precipitation the rest of the walk may be muddy too. Also this area does flood on the occasion, which might add to the trash (that and the on-ramp). So dress to get dirty. Depending on the time of day you could have a high muggle population. During the week the muggle population will increase at 8am to 9am, lunch time and 2pm to 3pm. Weekends should be fairly muggle free. There are some picnic tables near the parking and some muggles eat there at lunch, so watch out and use stealth if need be. You only need to worry about muggles at the start and end of your trip, once you cross the creek you should be muggle free. I can not stress enough that you should be ready for MUD. You will get dirty. NOTE: This was the Devil's first geocache find, so how could I not want to adopt this from my friend Red Knight!
