Geocache Description:

This is Cache 3 of a series of 3 caches, on a circular walk around a lake. The terrain is easy, most of it paved and flat. The cache itself is on sloping ground, a little off the pathway. Located near a road but accessible from the lake area. Take some bread to feed the ducks!

This cache is part of a series of caches near the village of Rocester, and takes you on a circular walk of about 1 mile, around a beautiful lake.

The village of Rocester has developed rapidly over the past 40 years. Near the village is the international J.C. Bamford industrial complex. JCB Rocester has many species of wildfowl on its 42 acres of beautifully landscaped lakes, which earned a Civic Trust Award for ‘an undoubted attraction’ that adds interest to the surrounding countryside, and is visited by thousands of people from overseas and by the local community.
