Geocache Description:

Magnetic nano, in prime location to soak up the sun sitting above a fine view.

Cache is a magnetic nano, placed here, mainly for the view, but also due to the interesting carved stone slab in the wall, easily read (if you squint), from your seat.

Loosely translated, it states that the grassy field in view, known as "Beanclose", was given to Wincanton to ‘secure for ever the view’ for the public, in memory of Samuel Deanesly 1839-1920.

The field is numbered 152 on the Tithe map of the Parish and measures 2 acres, 1 rood and 7 poles.

Park right next to cache on either side of the road, being wary of other road users stretching the 30 MPH speed limit.

Remember to bring a pen/pencil with you, be carful when searching for the cache, and try to replace exactly where you found it!
