Alligator Eye Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Michigan M-64 along the west side of Lake Gogebic has a
parking
area on the west side of the road. It is North of the Gogebic
County park a couple of miles. The Alligator Eye is marked on
most
maps and should be on your GPS. Walk north on the west side about a
hundred yards and the trail is marked by the USFS hiking trail
sign.
The trail is a half- mile climb which can be steep but the USFS
has
a bench about half way to the top. There is an interpretive
sign
just before the scenic vista. The lake is beautiful and color
season is not far away.
