The safest approach for this cache is while you are travelling North. The parking is on the South/West side of the Otaki Bridge.
Cache is a small camo screw top jar. Bring your own pen.
This is a pleasant walk along the south side of the Otaki river. You will walk past a house that has dogs which do come out to greet you. From my experience they have only ever been friendly with myself and my dog. Please beware of this and keep your dog under control while around this area as I have always at this point put my dog on a leash. This walk one way should take between 30 - 45 mins. There are gates that have to be gone around (they have styles to help you across) In some areas electric fences are being used. So please keep to the clear walkway and you will have no problems. Could be a good mountain bike ride.
