Geocache Description:

Moved to East side of trail to avoid confusion with near by letterbox. New container full of great new swag, including flash light and caches ready to be placed.

This cache is located on Fort DeSoto's Self-Guiding Nature Trail in the Arrowhead Picnic Area with plenty of parking. Terrain is a 2 because of the walk, and the trail is not wheelchair accessible.

This cache is on a NATURE TRAIL in FLORIDA. Expect lots of mosquiotes, bugs, and animals on the trail and near the cache, and please plan accordingly!! You have been warned; if you do not wear bug repellent you will be eaten alive!

This is my first cache!!!! :D

********** CONGRATS to susanron for First to Find!!! **********

Not many people know about this nature trail and since one of the thrills of geocaching is discovering new places I thought this would be a great hiding spot! One of the things I love most about geocaching is getting outside and getting in touch with nature. Please enjoy the rest of the Self-Guiding Nature Trail as well as all the beauty (and plenty of caches) that Ft. DeSoto has to offer! :D

NO bushwhacking is required when approaching from the right angle! I repeat - NO bushwaking required! If you are walking through palm bushes, stop, because you are approaching the cache wrong. The right way to approach this cache is located in the hints.

There is plenty of parking right next to the trail opening and across from the trail is a great picnic area. No food items are aloud in the cache.

Heavy rains cause flooding in the area. I've never had issues after rain getting to this cache, but you never know.

Cache is starting with two TBs and loaded with awsome swag. It has room for small trade items, coins, and TBs. Please do not overload it, I don't want this container to break or leak. Please make sure lid is locked tightly to prevent leaking.

Great opportunity to practice CITO, not only near this cache, but around all the caches in this park!

I hope you enjoy the hunt for this cache!! :D
