Geocache Description:

This is a two-part multi in the Wilderness Management Area land of the Four Chimneys Area off of Borkum Rd in Charlton. Stage one is about 65 feet off of the Mid State Trail that passes through here. The final is maybe 30 feet from the trail. The container is a large size micro container. No serious bush whacking needed but keep an eye out for the large porcupine.

To get the coordinates for the final stage you must do the following (gasp) math. On an obvious object at stage 1 you will find a number with seven numerals: A,B,C,D,E,F,G The coordinates for the cache are: N42 11.XXX where the Xs are found by adding the results from the following: [(A x B x C) - D -1] to the last 3 numbers of the published N coordinates of stage 1. W071 57.YYY where the Y numbers are found by subtracting F from the last three numbers of the west coordinates of stage 1. Elevation is approximately 1,079 feet for the final.
