Located near Hempstead Station Drive in Kettering off of the bike path. Easy parking across the street.
If you are familiar with the area, it may be because there have been two other caches at this location. The first, called Gopher It, was muggled by children. I had to go retrieve the regular sized container from another cacher.
The second cache at this location was called Gopher Broke. This cache was concealed inside of a hollowed out log. I thought it was a very clever hiding job. The muggle who resides (??) in this little patch of woods found the cache and moved it 20 feet. I found it and moved it back. Then he or she placed the inner container in a plastic drawer which filled with water. I still haven't found the hollowed out log. I really don't understand this playful muggle. I finally archived the second cache.
I have waited a few weeks since archiving the cache and still think that it is a great spot for a cache. Hmm, how will I try to thwart the muggle now? I really don't like micros in the woods. There are a few people who do, so I will reserve the instructions to the description section of the cache. You should be able to find the cache easily with the following instructions:
Approach the cache from the paved bike path. You will see a path entering the wooded area. Less than 5 feet into the wooded area on the left is a honeysuckle bush/tree. The cache is located in the base of the tree between all of the trunks.
Please replace the cache exactly as you found it. If you see a muggle, do your best to not show the location of the cache. I am hoping that this location will last more than a couple of months.
Thanks for helping me thwart the muggle!
