After a string of heists the RCMP dragnet closed in on Bonnie
and Clyde. Hemmed in by the Boundary Dam Reservoir and nearly out
of gas a gun battle ensued. Knowing they wouldn't make it out
alive, Bonnie and Clyde placed their loot near the cause of their
downfall.
You can park on the main road and hike in. There is also a trail
available in summer seasons that you can drive in on to get you
within 100m of the cache.
