Kokemäenjoen ranta Mystery Cache
Carambolecap: I placed a new container here a few days ago but when I went back to add the missing pen to the container, it was already gone. I guess someone has discovered this spot and doesn't want a cache to stay there. Too bad!

Kohtalaisen helppo kätkö Kokemäenjoen rannalla. Kätkö on mahdollinen löytää talvella, mutta lumen peittäessä maan vaara liukastumisesta ja putoamisesta on suurempi. Löytäminen myös vaatii ylimääräistä etsimistä, mikä lisää jästivaaraa. Ei suositella.
Kokemäenjoki (ruots. Kumo älv) on 150 kilometriä pitkä joki Satakunnan ja Pirkanmaan maakuntien alueilla Suomessa. Joki virtaa Kokemäen kaupungin läpi.
Koordinaatit johdattavat kätköilijän parkkipaikalle, jonne on kätevä parkkeerata kaikenlaiset kulkuneuvot. Ne kannattaa jättääkin sinne, sillä edessä on hiukkanen kävelyä, kun vihjeet on selvitetty.
Miten edetä kätköpaikalle?

ennen kuin poikkeat kohti rantaa!"
Muuttuja "x" saadaan laskemalla yhteen yksittäisten numeroiden summa infotaulussa esiintyvästä turisti-infon puhelinnumerosta, sekä lisäämällä summaan kuusi.
Miten löytää kätkö paikalta? Laske yhteen Sääksjärven ja Kokemäen rautatieaseman luvut ja miinusta sitten Seuratalo ja sähkömuseo.
Kätkössä on muutamia pikkutavaroita lapsille, logikirja ja kynänpätkä. Tilaa muullekin löytyy.

A quite easy cache on the shore of River Kokemäki. The cache can be found during wintertime but when the snow covers the ground it's easy to slip and fall down - and we wouldn't want that. ;) Finding it in the snow is also harder, and there's a way bigger change for a muggle to get curious about the tracks on the snow. Not recommended.
River Kokemäki (in Swedish: Kumo älv) is 150 km long, flowing through the provinces of Satakunta and Pirkanmaa. It also flows through the city of Kokemäki.
The coordinates will lead you to a parking lot, where you can easily park all kinds of vehicles. Actually, you are recommended to leave them there since there'll be a bit of a walk after you've deciphered the clues.
How to proceed to the cache site?
"Where steel changes to stone, walk x stone pillars,
before heading off to the shore"
The variable "x" you get, when you add up the numbers in the tourist info phone number, which can be found on the info board. Then add six.
How to find the cache? Add up the numbers of "Sääksjärvi" and "Kokemäen rautatieasema", then
subtract "Seuratalo" and "Sähkömuseo".
There is some small toys for kids, a logbook and a pencil in the cache. There is also space for other items.
